you will notice there is a way to bolt something on at a slant to the more solid part.
The part that has two holes a long ways apart is to attach screws to the under part of the top farme pieces.
Attached is a picture from JohnSL website that shows how a 3DR Simple top frame has long round columns for a screw.
I found that the long round columns will easily break off, unless i use super glue to attach them to the sides of the frame.:)
