Yep, I'm going to check my stepper connections again. Some of my earlier crimps were of questionable quality so that could be an issue for sure. Fortunately I got a bucket load of receptacles and housings off eBay so that's not an issue.
My X tower stepper did work well though; it was super cool see it run to the end stop and stop on a dime. The Y tower %$#^'d up though so I'll put a new receptacle on it tonight and give it another crack.
Out of interest, what's usually the best way to "fine tune" after an automagic calibration has been done? How do you know if a calibration is good or bad?
Already getting excited about the prospect of a 4XL Andy, haha, but I need to get the base system working first!
