Re: Whats the latest and greatest Delta platform these days?

The Cherry Pi III and Griffin seem to be the most active new designs, with the Kossel (both 1515 and 2020 variants) being most popular. My next printer is a toss-up between a CoreXY or a Delta based...

Thanks you ! :) "your frame is misaligned or twisted.. check all the diagonal measurements and get them eqaul.." how much accuracy needed? in micrones?

Re: error/difference between x and y axis in delta 3d printer

0.1 -0.2mm error is acceptable but try to get it equal.. or live with x-y error... try printing a large cube 100 x 100 and see the error if it is percentile or absolute

Re: Thermal Paste between head bed and glass?

You should definitely be using it with the thermistors. They won't get as accurate as they can get without it. The hot end heater will be more efficient with thermal paste too but a tight enough fit...

Re: Whats the latest and greatest Delta platform these days?

I think the mini kossel is the most active delta at the moment. the 1515 version is ok but not stiff enough if you make it bigger than the stock size. The 2020 variant is very stiff at a reasonable...

Re: error/difference between x and y axis in delta 3d printer

It is a delta. X/Y/Z errors are all tied together. It is enough to perfectly level the bed the old way and also your X/Y dimensions will be correct (or at worst all scaled by the same constant). And...

Re: Perfect Build Surface For PLA?

Re: Whats the latest and greatest Delta platform these days?

With the GriffinPro we are running the Axteeg X5 mini with FSR for auto calibration and optical end stops. Right now we can push some amazing speeds and still get quality prints. The nice thing about...

Re: B&T Rap

Unless you weight the end effector down greater than the force exerted by the extrudate, the extrudate will have a lifting force in the Z-axis.
