Printed rods with u-joints weared out after about 10 hours of pringing. After that they had too big play. Go for rods with some ball-joints from an shop for RC models.

A tutorial did come with a kit. But it was not worth much. Had errors and was not finished.

There is scad file for plywood there too. I did not use it but it is probably right. Anyway plywood dimensions do not matter much. Tower positions matter and you will get them with a jig. And you will easily see when your jig does not fit your plywood.

I do not use it but looks like you can do stanalone printing even without lcd:
