Thermal Paste between head bed and glass?

So does anyone use thermal paste between the heated bed and the glass? I was planning on putting some on but have no idea if it will survive trips to 100+C.... Another thing. I hate the whole binder clip idea. Any ideas on how to properly mount this thing?
