Re: Curious delta problem: slanted prints
Can you try printing the part on a different part of the build plate? You shouldn't have this issue with fishing line, but with belts, there may be a portion of the belt that's degrading or has...

I did another print with Slic3r. All of these were printed with KISSlicer. It didn't have this issue. What setting in KISSlicer would be causing this? My prints also keep curling on the same side.

I have been through calibration a few times now and I can't seem to dial in the Z Height on my prints. My calibration print is 20X20X5. The print is printing 20..1X20.1X5.5. I have my steps per mm...

I had a similar issue with my printer. In my case the problem arose when printing higher than a few centimeters. It seems like Marlin FW has some problems with round/sqrt to much After switching from...

zsquared, I tried your suggestion this morning - without homing the head after the print, I moved it to a reference position (x40, y0, z10 so that it did not collide with the print) where I had...

RostockMini4tw, Thanks for the info. It's interesting that your problem went away when you switched to a smaller pulley - that should mean more steps per mm movement, which in turn means bigger...

As a note, I have been through all of the other threads related to this issue. I guess the part I may be missing is. How do you properly calibrate steps per mm on a delta? I figured since @ X0 Y0 Z...

Hello everybody, I tried find out which firmware I should use for my Rostock Mini printer. Repetier worked fine until 0.83 17-03-2013 even with G29 command to level average z-height. Marlin stock...

Since we are spitballing the issue, I would venture to guess there is some binding somewhere. Once the steps are skipped it is skipped for good. See if you can spot any binding in your movement. In my...

My curling was being caused by the layers not having enough time to cool down. I tried printing 2 at the same time, and they both came out perfect! Thanks for all the help guys!

You can measure Z movement on any of the carriages. Presuming you have the same belts and pulleys on all three they will all move the same amount. Repetier Host has a belt calculator on its top menu....

@AndyCart Thanks. The calc actually confirmed the 100. I'll have to keep playing and see if I can figure out what is going on. Really banging my head against the wall on this one.

It may be a stupid question but ... Did you actually count the teeth on your pulleys?

I think it has to be the firmware. Skipped steps won't give you a linear distortion like this on a delta printer.
