Re: Cherry Pi III Is Available

As FYI, I use Gorilla CA Glue. Work very nicely and I love the content. In fact, I also have wood glue and "normal?" glue from them.

Re: Cherry Pi III Is Available

I always use high viscosity CA it's the consistency of maple syrup and stinks to high heaven but it sticks pretty good. Roughing up the plastic helps too. The ones that I have had fail seem to let go...

Re: Rostock mini pro, problem with movements

I ditched the rubber legs and also use clips to hold the bed. Had the same problem at the beginning-the plate was tilting when printing larger objects. It is very stable now except the head hitting...

Re: Effector "Rocking"

Have you checked your steps/mm is the same on all motors and that all the jumpers under the driver boards are identical? (and are actually connected, sometimes they ship without the metal connector)

Re: Effector "Rocking"

Yup, Im running an arduino with RAMPS and all the jumpers are on and the motors run at the same speed. Im running GT2 belts with 20 tooth pulleys - Believe the setting is 80 in Marlin.

Re: Rostock problems on the outer regions.

The filament not going through the nozzle and the knock of the extruder is a jam. I call it the knock of death-- I hate that noise. The fact that it comes and goes when you are moving from the middle...

Re: Rostock problems on the outer regions.

Are you sure that your Bowden tube is not bending more at the outer edges of your build area? The increased friction in the tube from the extra bends will cause the filament to drag, and it could be...

Re: Cherry Pi III Is Available

Calibration finished after 99 time. I guess it's not "normal". Everywhere, the printer tap 2-3 time, except for the middle point between x and y, she's always tapping 7 times (not sure for the last...

Looks great. Best way to tighten the belts is to loosen the screws on the steppers and lift them to the top of the slots. Pull the belt loop into the rod carriers as tight as you can get it and then...

Re: Perfect Build Surface For PLA?

Quotegmh39 Since CF vinyl seems to work nicely for a no-heat bed, has anyone tried a whole sheet of carbon fiber? If it works it would make your bed super light. I'm new to 3d printing, but I have a...

Thanx for answers! "The knock of death", yeah, really hate that sound, can hear it from another room when it happens, though its usually because of to low temperature in my case. But it doesn't looks...

Re: Curious delta problem: slanted prints

Here's an update. I have tried to eliminate as many potential causes of error as I can. I've written a python script to generate clean, simple, compact G codes, so there is no possibility of the error...
