My Rostock Delta Mini Pro instructions expect me to lay the geared extruder motor under the machine and have the bowden tube make a large circle loop. however, it looks that the stiffness of the...

You seem to be using the 'normal' Marlin branch, there is a special deltabot branch that you can try: [github.com]

Re: Marlin Delta Firmware Issue

Hey, I have just updated my firmware with the version you linked. Error has gone!!! But a new one has developed! Once homed, the Z axis will no longer move! Repetier Host changes the Z height to red...

Re: Marlin Delta Firmware Issue

It is possible that the firmware is confused by the probe, do you have min endstops disabled in your firmware? M119 should show x_max, y_max, z_max and z_min (probe) I think that if z_min is TRIGGERED...

Re: Marlin Delta Firmware Issue

I have // out the minimum end stops, but not sure if that is the correct way of doing it? When I do M119 it still shows max and min, but the mins are all open.

Hmm, I am digging through my config and don't exactly remember what I did... It could be one of these things: My printer has no nozzle probe, it is disabled by setting Z_MIN_PIN to -1 I also commented...

Re: Marlin Delta Firmware Issue

Quote3D-ES I have changed min_software_endstops and max_software_endstops to false, this is probably not a good idea, I will restore that setting and see what happens. This did nothing unexpected, the...

Re: Best way to route the bowden tube?

Here's how we do it on the Griffin Pro Mini, best method I have found yet for small deltas. Mount the extruder on top, then go out and around the vertical rail. Oh, and I recommend you store the...

Hah, don't worry Andy, my 3.5 year old LOVES the yellow! She's already requested that I print an aeroplane, a monkey, a kookaburra and a whale for her. Sure, it's probably not the yellow I would have...

Re: How to invert x and y, but not z

Re: Best way to route the bowden tube?

Ok, makes sense. My pre mounted bowden is pretty long, when I mount on top, I get a giant loop hanging around beside the construction, thus stressing the hot-end plate. Shortening it seems necessary,...

Re: Marlin Delta Firmware Issue

Do you have your nozzle probe disabled in firmware? I suspect that your printer thinks it has hit the bottom... If M119 reports a z_min, read this page. User "umdpru" also had some conflicts with his Z.

Re: Marlin Delta Firmware Issue

This is what the M119 comes back with. Thus implying I have disabled the probe.

Re: Want to do a "pencil" dry print, but will not do x and y movements after...

Hello 3D-ES, thx again for your time. I've searched those three codes and only found a M109 command, in the form: "M109 S200 ; wait for temperature to be reached" Full gcode is here: [www.dropbox.com]

Re: Want to do a "pencil" dry print, but will not do x and y movements after...

Then you have probably found your problem! That instruction tells your printer to wait for the nozzle to warm up, try to disable that instruction by putting a ; in front of the M109 line!
